PROYECTO ANA ESCRIBIÓ SU DIARIO

TRABAJOS REALIZADOS POR SÉPTIMO CON  
LA PROFESORA DE  INGLÉS, MARÍA PAZ.

Este proyecto llamó la atención de los alumnos . A mi parecer, lo que más los motivó fue la empatía que sintieron al ver la cantidad de gente, especialmente niños, que murieron en campos de concentración durante la II Guerra Mundial. 
Este año se conmemoró el 70 aniversario de la liberación del campo de concentración de Auschwitz en Polonia.

Aprovechando que estamos repasando/estudiando el Pasado Simple, nos unimos al proyecto y presentamos la siguiente descripción de un campo de concentración. 

Vimos en youtube un video de la BBC, donde un drone vuela sobre Auschwitz, y también vimos fotos reales sacadas por un turista en el lugar el año pasado.

We saw a big gate with a name in German. There are railways that used to take the Jew prisoners to the camp . They were held prisoners in big, dark old buildings.

Some of the buildings are in ruins, but others remain  on the ground. The buildings had constructions that worked like bunk beds. People slept on them, but there were no mattresses or pillows.

There are a lot of shoes, glasses, bags and suitcases that belong to the people who died there. There is a sign that shows the different badges that the prisoners would wear, depending on their status.

There are ovens that were used  to cremate people, especially old, crippled, women and children. People who weren`t able to work hard, or produce something for the Nazis,  were sent to these ovens . Soldiers told them that they were going to have “ a shower” but they were cremated . Then their bodies were taken by other prisoners to a grave. They used a cart to carry all the bodies.
